Start with shoulder reach, sleeve position and room for your intended layers. Then compare jacket length, vent placement and liner construction. Leather type alone does not tell you how a jacket fits or whether it has a tested protection rating.

Compare the construction
- Women’s Vented Goatskin Motorcycle Jacket: listed 1.0–1.1 mm goatskin, six zippered vents and a removable thermal liner.
- Women’s Black and Purple Leather Hoodie Jacket: listed 1.0 mm cowhide, three-quarter length and a removable hoodie liner.
Check fit before removing tags
Try the jacket zipped with the liner installed and your usual layers underneath. Reach forward as you would on the bike and check whether the shoulders bind or sleeves restrict movement. Use the chart for that model; size labels are not universal garment measurements.
Should I automatically order a size larger?
Compare your measurements with the specific chart and try the intended layers. Ask us for style-specific measurements if the chart does not identify them.
Does a removable liner mean the jacket is certified protective equipment?
No. Liner construction is a comfort feature. A protection certification must be identified separately on the label or manufacturer documentation.
